Acer recently announced the launch of the beTouch E400 Android smartphone. The gadget runs the 2.1 version of the popular Android operating system.
Appearently Acer is showing it's seriousity with the announcement of the E400 and other smartphones last week on MWC, Barcelona, Spain. The specs are good but nothing big.

INQ mobile launched today two new handset, the INQ Chat 3G qwerty and the INQ Mini 3G candybar phone. Both phone support the most popular social network client such as Facebook, Live Messenger, AIM topped with a Twitter client.
Both phones will be available in the 4th quarter of 2009, pricing is unavailable.

Almost one year past since RIM published it's facebook client 1.5 for BlackBerry devices. now here is an update.
The new version is 1.6 and has the following changes:
- You can view your friends' highlights like updates, photo uploads, comments and wall posts.
- You can check out your friends’ profiles with access to status updates, wall posts, friends and recently added pictures.
- You can open recently added photos or entire albums, or tag photos of friends. You can even comment on pictures.
If you have a compatible device (Blackberry OS 4.2 or higher with enough ram) hit the read button get it.

Finally the long waited moment come and the Apple released the 3.0 version of iPhone's Operating System.
Will I have a new iPhone? - you ask. E say - No, but abetter one.
The new OS brings copy and paste functionality, more use of the landscape keyboard and improved searching. Apple also fixed several bugs to bringa better user experience. The landscape keyboard got more focus now and will be used in Mail, messages and notes.
With the spotlight search you can search the iPhone the same way like you search your mac.
And don't forget the MMS. It's available through the SMS app wich is called Messages actually.

Samsung electronics first announced it's Android smarphone called Galaxy in April. And Showed if off at the CommunicAsia exhibition in Singapore tuesday.
The galaxy has the new samsung AMOLED display (3.2 inch) with scratch resistant touch screen technology. The device lacks physical qwerty type keyboard but its OK. Thanks to the Android operatiing system the Galaxy support popular google services like YouTUbe, Google Maps, Gmail etc out of the box.
