Access point groups was discontinued on Nokia smartphones, however a lot of users would like to use it on ther Nokia smartphones.

Solution: Smartconnetct from Birdstep. With this utility you can create access point groups. The app automatically connects to the better and/or faster connection in the group. That connection switching is completely seamless from 3G to WiFi and vica versa.

So your phone can connect automatically to your home, office wlan connection when available. You can set up endless access point groups, create special groups for home and for work or create special access point groups for specific applications or for specific email accounts.

The application is available through the "download" app on selected S60 3rd edition or higher Nokia headsets.

According to some UAPROF xml documents from Nokia 3 device got their UAPROF document: The Nokia E63 with version 1,2,3.
Probably the E63-1 will launch first for the European market, the E63-2 without camera and the E63-3 for the United States. The E63 officially does not exsists, but from the documents we now a lot of thigs allready.

The E63 will come with Symbian 9.2 software topped with S60 3.1 OS, quad-band GSM, tri-band 3G, WLAN, Stereo Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 2 or 3 MP camera, 320x240 16M color displayand QWERTY keyboard.

"Samsung today announced the i7110, its latest smartphone based on its S60 user interface and the Symbian operating system (OS).

The i7110 is a slim and sleek bar-type smartphone at 12.9 millimetres thick and includes HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is based on Symbian OS v9.3 and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2, allowing users to access the S60 applications library and assign their favourites using dedicated hot keys.

Other features include a 2.6-inch Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) screen, an FM transmitter to allow drivers to receive the voice navigation guidance via car speakers, geo-tagging and navigation capabilities in pedestrian and driving modes, a five-megapixel camera and support for multi-codec formats including DivX..."

Nokia unveiled on Thursday its first touch-screen phone, priced well below Apple's iPhone model, as the world's top cellphone maker hopes to tap consumers for whom the iPhone has been too expensive. Nokia said it would begin selling shortly.

The price would be around 280 Euros, far bellow the iPhone's price.
