Java Language Arts Apps

Java ME (J2ME) powered the first great wave of mobile software — almost every Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola feature phone ran apps and games packaged as JAR files. This archive collects 3 free Java downloads — messengers, browsers, games, readers and tools — each installable over-the-air or by cable on any MIDP/CLDC handset. Browse by category below, or jump to Java games, Series 40 apps (also JAR), or the Symbian collection for smartphone-class software.
