
Garmin has announced two new Handheld GPS devices, the Oregon 550 and Oregon 550t. The new devices will have a built in 3.2 Mp digital camera with autofocus, 4x digital zoom and geotagging feature. The user will be able to take pictures, geotag them, and find the same place agin. The camers have 850mb built in memory for storage which can be expanded with a MicroSD memory card for more pictures.
The two new devices have 3-axis tilt compensated electronic compass to be able to show your heading even without holding them in level.
