The Oppo Reno13 is the compact, lightweight sibling to the Reno13 Pro — at just 181g and 7.2mm, it delivers an impressively pocket-friendly 6.59-inch AMOLED with 3840Hz PWM dimming and a 50MP autofocus front camera recording 4K video. The Dimensity 8350 powers a refined everyday experience with a 5,600mAh battery and high-frequency PWM for comfortable low-brightness viewing, though the rear camera system trades the Pro's telephoto for a lighter build and smaller main sensor.
See full specifications below ↓Strengths
- Pro: Exceptionally slim at 7.2mm and very light at 181g for a 6.59" AMOLED device
- Pro: 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming significantly reduces eye strain at low brightness
- Pro: 50MP autofocus front camera with 4K 60fps video for high-quality selfies and calls
- Pro: 5,600mAh battery in a slender chassis for a full day of heavy use
- Pro: Up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage with Gorilla Glass 7i protection
Weaknesses
- Con: No telephoto camera — the standard Reno13 skips zoom entirely unlike the Pro
- Con: Main sensor steps down to 1/1.95" versus the Pro's 1/1.56" — weaker in low light
- Con: 1,200-nit peak brightness is moderate by 2024 standards
- Con: Wi-Fi 6 (not Wi-Fi 7 or 6E) limits wireless performance longevity
- Con: USB Type-C 2.0 is slow for wired charging and data at this tier
