The Sony Xperia X Premium is a cancelled 2016 smartphone that was rumoured as part of the Xperia X series but never officially announced or released by Sony. It would have been notable for its 5.5-inch 4K HDR IPS LCD display paired with the Snapdragon 820 processor, making it the first smartphone with a 4K HDR display. Sony later delivered on the 4K HDR concept with the officially-released Xperia XZ Premium in 2017.
